Eritrea Organic First National Organic Fertilizer Conference

A National Organic Fertilizer conference was held from 26th-27th April under the theme "Organic Fertilizers to Boost Safe and Nutritious Food Production" and presented 18 research papers. This is an initiative to help farmers transform from chemical fertilizers and pesticides to organic fertilizers and bio-extracts. The first trials resulted in maximized yield and healthy plant structure.
